BRILLIANCE CHI (01114) announced interim results. Profit attributable to shareholders of 779 million yuan decreased by 54.24% year over year

According to the Zhitong Finance App, BRILLIANCE CHI (01114) announced interim results for the six months ended June 30, 2026. The group obtained revenue of RMB 676 million (same unit), an increase of 20.31%; profit attributable to the Company's equity holders of RMB 779 million, a year-on-year decrease of 54.24%; profit per share of $0.15,430; and proposed interim dividend of HK$0.5 per share.

According to the announcement, the increase in revenue was mainly due to the increase in sales of light buses and multi-purpose vehicles in Jinbei Shenyang. In the first six months of 2026, Jinbei Shenyang sold 2,815 light buses and utility vehicles, while 277 vehicles were sold in the same period in 2025. The increase in sales of light buses and multi-purpose vehicles was partially offset by a decrease in automobile finance earnings due to increased competition in the market.
