07:49 AM EDT, 08/21/2026 (MT Newswires) -- AlphaValue/Baader Europe updated its forecasts for Geberit (GEBN.SW), highlighting the Swiss sanitary products and bathroom ceramics manufacturer's "resilience" amid an environment that remains challenging. The research firm raised its sales projections by an average of 4% over the 2026 to 2028 period, while EBITDA estimates were lifted by 4.1%, according to a Thursday note. Following a robust organic growth in the second quarter, Geberit is now expected to see a local-currency growth of 5.8%, which sits at the upper end of its guided 5% to 6% range. Currency headwinds on the company's reported figures are also anticipated to gradually ease. "Momentum is improving in the Nordics, with Euroconstruct now pointing to regional construction market growth of c.3.7%. However, we do not expect a meaningful recovery in residential construction more broadly, which remains constrained by a difficult interest rate environment, with mortgage rates still elevated in several European markets, notably France and Germany (29% of sales)," analysts said. "We therefore maintain our cautious stance and keep our Reduce recommendation, with the increased estimates only partially offsetting the limited room left by an already full valuation." The stock's price target stands at 595 francs.
