According to the Zhitong Finance App, Kookmin Technology (02701) announced its interim results for the six months ended June 30, 2026. The group obtained revenue of RMB 906 million (same unit), an increase of 43.39% over the previous year; profit attributable to the company's owners was RMB 4.414 million, while a loss of RMB 36.784 million was recorded in the same period last year; basic profit per share was 0.01 yuan.
According to the announcement, the change of loss to profit was mainly due to strong revenue growth in chip products, lithium-ion battery anode material products, and graphitization processing services. Coupled with improved operating efficiency and economies of scale, the profitability increased during the reporting period.
Revenue increased by 43.4% to 906 million yuan due to a 38.1% increase in revenue from chip products and a 50.5% increase in revenue from lithium-ion battery anode material products and graphitization processing services. The above factors together contributed to the Group's profit during the reporting period.
