In order to prevent the possible adverse effects of Typhoon No. 20 “Jane LaVey” of this year, the Fujian Provincial Defense Bureau initiated a level-4 emergency response against the typhoon at 15:00 on August 22. The Fujian Provincial Defense Bureau requires that all relevant departments in various coastal regions pay close attention to typhoon dynamics, initiate emergency response to typhoon prevention in due course, strengthen consultation, investigation, organization and scheduling, and do a solid job of defense.
