The reporter learned from the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Hydrology Center that due to typhoon No. 19 “Zitan”, torrential rain to heavy rain fell in parts of the cities of Chongzuo, Fangchenggang, Baise, and Nanning. Heavy to heavy local torrential rain. Heavy daily rainfall included 303.0 mm in Nakan Town, Ningming County, Chongzuo City, and 290.5 mm in Pingfu Township, Shangsi County, Fangchenggang City. Affected by heavy rainfall, rivers such as the Zuojiang River and tributaries the Ming River and Heishui River experienced a rise of 4 to 11 meters. Among them, 19 stations of the Ming River and its tributaries Gongan River, the Pailian River, the Sizhou River, the Zuojiang River and the upstream Pinger River and tributaries of the Pingxiang River and the Beilun River experienced excessive flooding of 0.03 meters to 6.03 meters.
