According to a research report published by UBS, BOC Aviation Leasing's net profit for the first half of the year was generally in line with the market and the expectations of the plan. Due to the expansion of the fleet, operating lease rental income increased 5% year over year, lower than the bank's forecast of 10%. The company declared an interim interest of $0.1,799, and the dividend payout ratio increased to 35%, in line with its dividend policy. The bank mentioned that BOC Aviation Leasing's capital expenditure in the first half of the year increased 20% year-on-year to US$2.3 billion, accounting for half of the annual guideline of US$4.5 billion. Management is confident that the target for the whole year can be achieved. The bank generally maintained BOC Aviation Leasing's earnings forecast for this year, but lowered its 2027-28 forecast by 2 to 4% to reflect the reduction in rental income forecast, which was partially offset by an increase in aircraft disposal revenue. The bank slightly raised the company's target price from HK$104.2 to HK$106.1, maintaining a “buy” rating.
