In order to implement the “Opinions on Further Strengthening the Protection of Intangible Cultural Heritage” of the General Office of the Communist Party of China and the General Office of the State Council and strengthen the dynamic management of national intangible cultural heritage representative project protection units, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism organized and carried out the adjustment of national intangible cultural heritage representative project protection units in accordance with the “Interim Measures on the Protection and Management of National Intangible Cultural Heritage” and other relevant regulations. The protection units for 389 representative national intangible cultural heritage projects have been adjusted. Another 3 projects have not been certified because there are no suitable protection units yet. The adjusted list of protection units representing national intangible cultural heritage projects has now been announced.
