According to the Zhitong Finance App, Shijiyao Group (02005) announced its 2026 interim results. The group achieved revenue of HK$2,361 million, an increase of 9.94% year on year; profit attributable to the company's equity holders was HK$320 million, up 12.99% year on year; basic profit per share was HK$0.1107, and an interim dividend of HK$0.055 per share was planned.
The Group actively participates in national and local procurement work, making every effort to promote market entry and rapid growth of new products and superior products, and steadily expand its market coverage share. In the first half of the year, it participated in 407 local procurement projects at or above the municipal level. Up to now, 269 products were selected from the cumulative collection volume. 55 quality products, including metronidazole tablets, dexmedetomidine hydrochloride injections, and ipratropium bromide solution for inhalation, won the bid at the end of the national procurement agreement. In the centralized procurement of pharmaceuticals in Shandong Province, five standard products won the bid with a clear advantage, further expanding the ability to influence the regional market. At the same time, new product entry was carried out efficiently. Of these, 8 products were approved in more than 20 provinces, and 6 more than 15 were approved. The market access coverage rate of products continued to increase, laying a solid foundation for subsequent performance growth.
In terms of infusion business, the Group is actively seizing market opportunities, increasing market development efforts, and operating results have been steadily showing. Infusion production and sales increased against the trend in the first half of the year, reaching 868 million bottles (bags), up 21.4% year on year; sales revenue of HK$1,487 billion was achieved, up 24.0% year on year. While strengthening production and marketing links, accelerating digital transformation, and paying close attention to cost reduction and efficiency, the Group is actively constructing a product matrix guided by terminal market value, continuously optimizing market layout and segmentation strategies, focusing on increasing the sales share of advantageous varieties such as therapeutic infusions, large products and peritoneal dialysis solutions, continuously consolidating the market foundation of the infusion business, and maintaining a stable overall supply and demand pattern. By increasing market development efforts, mannitol injections were sold at 19.75 million bottles, up 19% year on year; moxifloxacin hydrochloride injection sold 6.17 million bags, up 23% year on year; sales of peritoneal dialysis solution were 5.31 million bags, up 121% year on year; and levofloxacin sodium chloride injection was sold at 5.24 million bags, up 17% year on year.
In terms of the water needle business, sales of ampoules were 178.81 million units in the first half of the year, up 0.4% year on year; sales were HK$163 million, up 3.5% year on year. Although sales of water needles fell short of expectations, selected products from domestic procurement maintained a clear advantage. Among them, lidocaine hydrochloride injections achieved sales of 2.57 million units, a year-on-year increase of 99%; ornidazole injections achieved sales of 2.39 million units, an increase of 64%; betastine hydrochloride injections achieved sales of 13.34 million, an increase of 19%; and ipratropium bromide solution for inhalation achieved sales of 12.44 million units, an increase of 28% year-on-year.
In the oral formulation business, the Group continues to enrich its generic drug consistency evaluation variety reserves and continues to expand its market share. In the first half of the year, due to the overall low prevalence of respiratory tract infections, the digestion channel stocks of some seasonal antiviral drugs fluctuated cyclically in the industry. Oral formulations achieved sales of HK$165 million, a year-on-year decrease of 44%. However, the sector showed structural differentiation. With stable market competitiveness, sales of some dominant varieties still achieved steady growth, and the overall fundamentals of oral chemical formulations remained stable. Among them, Rosuvastatin calcium tablets achieved sales of 171.01 million tablets, a year-on-year increase of 14%; valsartan amlodipine tablets (I) achieved sales of 61.11 million tablets, an increase of 69% year over year; and nifedipine sustained-release tablets (II) achieved sales of 27.32 million tablets, an increase of 86% year over year.
In terms of the API business, in the face of adverse factors such as weak market demand and changes in domestic and foreign tariff policies, the Group has strengthened cooperation with major domestic and foreign customers and high-end customers through measures such as increasing overseas product registration and international certification, and is exploring market potential. In the first half of the year, APIs achieved sales of HK$395 million, an increase of 9.4% over the previous year.
