The Zhitong Finance App learned that Kangchen Pharmaceutical (01681) rose by more than 11% after the results. As of press release, it had risen 7.24% to HK$14.37, with a turnover of HK$84.1281 million.

According to the news, on the afternoon of August 26, Kangchen Pharmaceutical announced the results for the six months ended June 30, 2026. The group obtained revenue of 1,785 billion yuan during the period, up 13.8% year on year; profit attributable to the company's equity shareholders was 595 million yuan, up 19.5% year on year; basic profit per share was 0.71 yuan; and plans to distribute an interim dividend of HK$0.38 per share. In the first half of 2026, the Group's gross profit was RMB 1,452 million, an increase of approximately 20.1% compared with RMB 1,209 billion for the same period in 2025. The increase in gross profit was mainly due to increased sales.

According to product line classification, sales of nephrology products increased by about 18.1% over the same period in 2025, continuing to maintain the leading position in the market. Sales of women's and children's products and hepatobiliary products increased by about 9.1% and 233.7% respectively. The Group's overall revenue growth is mainly due to its continued commitment to expand the national sales network and increase the market coverage of its products.
