COSMOPOL INT'L (00120) announced interim results with a net loss of HK$232.4 million, an increase of 311.3% year-on-year

According to the Zhitong Finance App, COSMOPOL INT'L (00120) announced its 2026 interim results, with revenue of HK$158.8 million, up 892.5% year on year; parent company shareholders' losses of HK$232.4 million, an increase of 311.3% year on year; basic loss per share was HK$12.43.

The increase in losses in the half year under review was mainly due to the fact that the Group's afforestation project in Urumqi that was approved for land development was affected by recent changes in circumstances, which required impairment of advance payments for afforestation projects included in the cost account.
