Everpure: Fiscal Q2 Earnings Snapshot

SANTA CLARA, Calif. (AP) — SANTA CLARA, Calif. (AP) — Everpure, Inc. (P) on Wednesday reported fiscal second-quarter profit of $74.1 million.

On a per-share basis, the Santa Clara, California-based company said it had net income of 21 cents. Earnings, adjusted for stock option expense and non-recurring costs, came to 70 cents per share.

The results topped Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of nine analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 59 cents per share.

The data storage company posted revenue of $1.19 billion in the period, also topping Street forecasts. Nine analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $1.09 billion.

For the current quarter ending in October, Everpure said it expects revenue in the range of $1.33 billion to $1.34 billion.

The company expects full-year revenue in the range of $5.03 billion to $5.07 billion.
