The Zhitong Finance App learned that Meitu (01,357) rose more than 5% after the results. As of press release, it had risen 2.65% to HK$4.45, with a turnover of HK$51.4267 million.

According to the news, on August 26, Meitu announced its interim results for the six months ended June 30, 2026, with revenue of 2,213 billion yuan (RMB, same below), up 22.1% year on year; gross profit of 1,581 billion yuan, up 15.9% year on year; profit attributable to shareholders of 619 million yuan, up 40% year on year; basic profit per share of 0.14 yuan; and proposed to pay an interim dividend of HK$0.067 per common share.

Productivity applications showed strong growth in the six months ended June 30, 2026, with monthly active users (MAU) reaching a record high of 33 million in June. Among them, markets outside mainland China grew rapidly, and MAU grew by more than 80% year on year.

As of June 2026, the annual recurring revenue (ARR) for AI productivity applications grew further to approximately RMB 620 million. Among them, ARR at the start of production and Vmake Labs increased by two and three times over the same period last year, respectively. Furthermore, the total consumption of AI computing power points by users achieved a month-on-month increase of more than 46% in the first and second quarters of 2026, and the growth rate further accelerated in the second quarter, reflecting the continued deepening of users' use of AI visual creative workflows.
