The Zhitong Finance App learned that Dongyue Group (00189) rose more than 13%. As of press release, it had risen 10.24% to HK$14.54, with a turnover of HK$605 million.

According to the news, on August 20, Dongyue Group announced its 2026 interim results. The group achieved revenue of 8.06 billion yuan during the period, an increase of 8% over the previous year; the profit due to company owners during the period was 1,027 billion yuan, an increase of 31.84% over the previous year. During the review period, driven by the overall market in the fluorosilicon industry, the prices of many of the Group's core products rose by varying degrees. In the first half of the year, the Group completed construction and put into operation several key projects, including a new energy center project and an R32 refrigerant expansion project.

Societe Generale Securities released a research report saying that domestic sales of home appliances were pressured by a high base, declining national subsidies, and channel inventories, and exports were also suppressed by geographical disturbances, but prices from upstream manufacturers and air conditioning manufacturers exceeded expectations this year. If the liberalization of refrigerants in the second half of the year directly benefited, refrigerant exports showed obvious seasonality according to previous years. Export shipments were concentrated in Q3-Q4. This year is also the last year of the second batch of A5 national quota baselines. If the liberalization of the straits has the momentum to grab the baseline, especially varieties with high GWP, will benefit even more.
