Argenx Completes Acquisition of Forte Biosciences

09:34 AM EDT, 08/27/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Argenx (ARGX.BR) completed the acquisition of clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company Forte Biosciences, according to a Thursday release. The immunology company agreed to acquire Forte Biosciences at a total equity valuation of $2.2 billion in late July. It said the acquisition will expand its portfolio, with the addition of Forte Biosciences' lead program, FB102, a first-in-class anti-CD122 antibody with clinical proof-of-concept in vitiligo and celiac disease and potential to address multiple autoimmune diseases.
