According to the news, Nvidia released financial results for the second quarter of fiscal year 2027, with quarterly revenue of US$96.221 billion, up 106% year on year; data center business revenue of US$89 billion, up 117% year on year; and adjusted earnings per share (EPS) under non-GAAP caliber were US$2.22, up 120% year over year. At the conference call that followed, for the first time in Nvidia's history, it gave revenue guidance one year in advance.

Nvidia Chief Financial Officer Colette Kress (Colette Kress) gave two figures: first, revenue is initially expected to increase by about 70% year over year in the 2028 fiscal year; second, gross margin will continue to decline from the current 75% to bottom of 71% to 72% in the fourth quarter of this year.
