On August 28, Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov said in an interview that although the current US administration often refers to the Ukraine crisis as “Biden's war,” the Trump administration still supports Ukraine in terms of arms and funds. Moscow has never issued any ultimatum to the US about the Trump administration's support for Ukraine's attack on Russian territory. Lavrov also said that Britain's role in the Russian-Ukrainian conflict was “extremely negative.” He said that Britain has never had any permanent allies, and America is no exception, because Britain has always “looked down on Anglo-Saxons who founded a nation on the other side of the Atlantic.”
