On August 29, the Heilongjiang Youbao Railway front line redirection and station line overhaul project designed by China Railway Fifth Survey and Design Institute and constructed by China Railway 22nd Bureau entered the final stage. The project will complete all tasks on August 30. The Youbao Railway is a special transportation channel for grain and commodities in the Sanjiang Plain in Heilongjiang Province, an important grain-producing area in China. It was put into operation in 1998. This track change and station line overhaul is a key supporting project for Heilongjiang Province to further implement a new round of plans to increase the production of 10 million tons of grain. After the rail line upgrade, it will greatly enhance local transportation carrying capacity and help improve the quality and efficiency of grain transportation in Heilongjiang Province.
