On August 29, local time, Serbia's first robotics factory was officially put into operation in the western city of Shabac in the country. This factory, which was jointly built by China and Serbia, is also Europe's first mass production base for humanoid robots. According to reports, the first phase of this robot factory has an investment of 20 million euros and covers an area of about 3,000 square meters. It mainly carries out assembly, movement and vision system calibration and performance tests for humanoid robots and robot dogs. Currently, the humanoid robots produced by the factory are divided into different models. In the future, related robots will first be used in industrial production and gradually expanded to fields such as education and public services. According to the plan, the next project will also build a robotics industrial park in Serbia, with a total planned investment of about 200 million euros. After the entire project is completed, the annual production capacity of humanoid robots and robot dogs is expected to reach 20,000 units, and the products will target the European and global markets.
