On August 29, the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government cooperated with relevant agencies in Shenzhen to conduct the second large-scale cross-border stress test at Huanggang Port, focusing on peak load, further increasing traffic flow, and fully preparing for the smooth opening of the port. For the first time, the drill tested a “joint one-stop” driveway for vehicles to clear customs, organized private cars to pass between the two places, and carried out more than 1,000 cross-border cycle tests. This stress test also strengthened the “crowds concentration test”, releasing a large number of people several times in a short period of time, creating greater pressure on the flow of people, simulating that a large number of inbound travelers arrived in Hong Kong via Huanggang Port during peak periods.
