On August 31, ITOCHU Corporation announced that it has acquired a portion of India's Aegis Terminal shares from Aegis Vopak Terminals and is participating in its ammonia storage and transportation terminal business at Pipawav Port in Gujarat. The terminal was completed on August 10 and is ready for operation. It is India's first independent ammonia storage terminal. It is equipped with an ammonia storage tank with a capacity of about 36,000 tons, as well as supporting logistics infrastructure such as handling facilities, pipelines, and truck handling facilities.
