The Zhitong Finance App learned that Reading Text Group (00772) rose more than 5% in the intraday period. As of press release, it had risen 4.68% to HK$21.02, with a turnover of HK$107 million.

According to the news, “Journey to the West” was officially scheduled on August 31. As the first star-broadcast AI drama in China, the drama uses AI technology support from Seedance 2.0 and Seedance 2.5, uses AIGC to complete the interpretation of images and characters, no real actors participate, and uses an innovative model of “while producing, reviewing, and broadcasting”. According to some market analysts, the launch of this drama has verified that AI long dramas are progressing from concept to film, and that the closed commercial loop of AI long dramas is being broken through.

Yuewen Group previously revealed in its 2026 semi-annual report that the company's new track of skits and AI comics ushered in explosive growth, with related revenue exceeding 430 million yuan in the first half of the year, an increase of 2.3 times over the previous year. Guoyuan International Research Report points out that it continues to be optimistic about the accelerated commercialization of IP operations under the company's “content+platform+AI” model, and the “troika” composed of skits, AI comics, and IP derivatives has entered the large-scale monetization stage.
