According to the news of GigaYi Innovation, GigaYi Innovation has officially joined the Zephyr® project, the world's mainstream open source real-time operating system. The project is hosted by the Linux Foundation, and GigaYi Innovation officially became a dual silver member of the Zephyr® Project and the Linux Foundation. This cooperation marks a new stage in GigaYi's innovative global open source ecosystem layout. The company will rely on the GD32 MCU product matrix to deeply participate in the construction of the Zephyr® open source community, promote the deep integration of domestic MCUs with the mainstream global open source RTOS ecosystem, provide customers and developers in the industrial, Internet of Things, consumer electronics and other fields with a more open, standardized, and efficient embedded development environment, and continue to empower the global embedded open source ecosystem prosperity and technology inclusion. At present, the GigaYi innovation engineering team has carried out the GD32 MCU adaptation development work for the Zephyr Project in the internal code warehouse, and has completed SoC, BSP drivers and board-level support for multiple MCU series. Users can obtain code directly from the GD32 Github repository for development. The GigaYi Innovation Engineering Team also continues to contribute relevant code and technical support to the Zephyr community.
