Amak Identifies Mineralized Material at Saudi Arabia's Jabal Qaran Project

01:43 AM EDT, 08/31/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Almasane Alkobra Mining Co. (SASE:1322), d/b/a Amak, said Monday that it found 14 million tonnes of mineralized material at the Jabal Qaran project in Saudi Arabia's Najran region. The mineral resource estimate includes 11.3 million tonnes of mineral resources classified in accordance with the JORC Code, and 2.7 million tonnes of unclassified material. The classified resources comprise 9.7 million tonnes of polymetallic mineralization at a grade of 1.38% copper equivalent and 1.5 million tonnes of gold mineralization at an average grade of 1.10 grams per tonne of gold. The Saudi Arabian mining company said further exploration drilling will focus on testing extensions of the known mineralization at greater depths and in surrounding areas, as well as other prospective zones.
