The Zhitong Finance App learned that on Tuesday, the share price of the educational technology company Duol.US (DUOL.US) rose sharply, after Evercore ISI upgraded the stock rating to “outperform the market.” The agency's confidence in neighboring countries stems mainly from its exclusive consumer survey results, in-depth analysis of current product improvements, and tracking recent Daily Active User (DAU) trends.

The most notable aspect of EverCore's bullish stance is that the bank believes that market concerns about a threat to ChatGPT may be seriously overestimated.

Analyst Mark Mahaney specifically explained the ChatGPT factor: “The threat is real — 36% of language learners are using ChatGPT (the third most commonly used tool after Multiple Neighbors and YouTube). But the key is the following subtle but important details: a) language learners using ChatGPT are more biased towards leisure travel-related use scenarios (such scenarios have low monetization potential); b) over 50% of ChatGPT language learners also use multiple neighboring countries, and their activity in multiple neighboring countries is highly consistent with core users — 63% of ChatGPT users log in to multiple neighboring countries every day, and this usage frequency is the same as the core user base in multiple neighboring countries. The data speaks louder than words!”

Based on the above analysis, Evercore ISI raised its 2027 and 2028 earnings per share (EPS) forecasts for many neighboring countries and gave a new target price of 210 US dollars.

As of press time, shares of many neighboring countries have risen 6%.
