According to Woofun AI, Binance officially launched more than 1,000 US stocks and ETF options services to qualified users outside the US through Nest Trading, a broker registered in Abu Dhabi. Order execution and liquidation are handled by US registered Alpaca Securities.
This product mechanism is based on Binance's existing more than 7,000 US stocks and ETF securities, and unlike perpetual contracts, such options use physical settlement, and the issuer will actually pay for the corresponding shares. The core driving force behind the expansion of the business was the explosive growth in the scale of traditional financial asset transactions within the platform. In August, TradFi's perpetual contract trading volume reached US$433 billion, a 15-fold increase over January.
According to data compiled by Woofun AI, RWA.xyz statistics show that the total value of tokenized stocks has climbed from $346 million last year to $2.6 billion. Over the past 30 days, monthly transfers have increased 93% to $25.1 billion, and the number of holders has increased 157% and is close to 2.5 million.
Competitors have an equally intensive layout in the field of stock tokenization. Coinbase (COIN.US) introduced B20 tokenized shares to the Base platform last week, allowing non-US users to trade assets such as Apple (AAPL.US), Nvidia (NVDA.US), Meta (META.US), and Alphabet (GOOGL.US) around the clock, and supports them as collateral or transaction targets in DeFi agreements. Kraken opened the trading of over 7,000 US listed stocks for eligible European clients in August and integrated it with the xStocks tokenized product line. Robinhood (HOOD.US) launched the Robinhood Chain in July to provide a new generation of stock token products to qualified users in more than 120 countries.
Traditional financial giants and crypto-native platforms are reshaping stock trading infrastructure through tokenization technology. With the convergence of clear compliance paths and liquidity, on-chain stock trading has moved from edge experiments to mainstream asset allocation options, which indicates that the border between TradFi and DeFi is rapidly dissolving.
