We learned from the Fujian Hydrology and Water Resources Survey Center that due to continued heavy rainfall, 16 rivers in Fujian experienced excessive warning and overprotection floods. According to statistics, from 6:00 a.m. on September 1 to 6:00 p.m. on September 2, excessive water level floods occurred at 21 stations in 16 rivers in 4 cities in Fujian, with an excess of 0.08 to 3 meters; of these, 3 rivers and 3 stations in 2 cities experienced excessive guaranteed water level floods, exceeding the guaranteed range of 0.1 to 0.5 meters. As of 6:00 p.m. on September 2, the water levels in 14 stations of 11 rivers in 4 cities in Fujian were still above warning levels. Numbered floods occurred at Magnolia Creek in Putian and Jiaoxi in Ningde.
