THX Pharma Partnership Seeks Regulatory Clearance for Late-stage Juvenile Batten Disease Drug Trial

01:15 AM EDT, 09/02/2026 (MT Newswires) -- THX Pharma (ALTHX.PA), formerly Theranexus, said Tuesday that applications have been filed with regulators in the US, the UK, and the European Union for the phase 3 trial of Batten-1 as a treatment for juvenile Batten disease. The listed biopharmaceutical company and its partners, Beyond Batten Disease Foundation and pharmaceutical company Biocodex, submitted the applications with the US Food and Drug Administration, the UK Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency, and through the EU's Clinical Trials Information System. Subject to regulatory approvals, patient enrollment in the late-stage trial is expected to begin by the end of 2026.
