Newron Targets Mid-October Completion of Evenamide Phase Three Schizophrenia Trial Enrollment

01:41 AM EDT, 09/02/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Newron Pharmaceuticals (NWRN.SW) plans to complete by mid-October the enrollment of at least 600 patients for the phase 3 trial of evenamide as an add-on therapy for patients with treatment-resistant schizophrenia. The biopharmaceutical company said Wednesday it has completed screening for enrollment in the trial, with 411 patients already randomized and 352 still undergoing screening. Topline data from the 12-week treatment period is expected in the first quarter of 2027.
