On the afternoon of September 2, Tencent WorkBuddy announced the official launch of the open platform, introducing more than 100 ecosystem partners in the first batch to open up low-level agent capabilities to smart hardware, industry applications, and developers. At the press conference, 9 joint smart hardware models were unveiled. Partners include brands such as Plaud, Rokid, Cinderex, iFLYTEK, Anke, Mamma, and Beijing-Tokyo; more than 30 industrial applications were simultaneously connected, covering more than 20 fields such as finance, law, medical care, education, and public welfare. Liu Yi, vice president of Tencent Cloud and head of Tencent CodeBuddy & WorkBuddy, said, “True productivity never depends on how powerful a tool is, but on how many capabilities it can connect to and how many scenarios. We want to make WorkBuddy an operating system for the agent era, not a stronger tool, but a platform that can carry all the tools.”
