In a separate Tuesday filing, Universe Pharmaceuticals also announced its annual general meeting, set for Sept. 30.
Shareholders of record as of Aug. 31 will vote on re-electing five directors and on a proposed 1-for-10 share consolidation.
The disclosed ownership stakes correspond to shares issued as consideration for Universe Pharmaceuticals’ acquisition of Best Praise International Limited, which closed Jun. 30.
