Jaguar Land Rover officially unveiled the Range Rover Electric on September 1, local time. This is the first pure electric mass-produced model of the car series since its introduction in 1969. The new car uses the MLA luxury modular architecture and is co-produced with fuel, light hybrid and plug-in hybrid versions at the Solihull plant in the West Midlands, England. It is officially positioned as the flagship electric SUV “quieter, more responsive, and more torque than all Range Rover models in history.”
