The General Administration of Customs recently issued the “Customs Clearance Instructions for the 9th China International Import Expo 2026" and “Customs Facilitative Measures to Support the 9th China International Import Expo 2026". On the basis of summarizing the supervisory service experience of the previous eight CIIE sessions, it launched a series of customs facilitation measures to fully protect the smooth running of the 9th CIIE. The two sets of documents issued this time clarify operating specifications around the entire chain of entry declaration, inspection and supervision, and post-exhibition disposal of exhibits, focus on the actual pain points of overseas exhibitors, optimize customs clearance processes, simplify approval procedures, implement support policies such as tax incentives for exhibits, guarantee models, and convenient inspection and quarantine, and reduce the institutional costs of exhibitors.
