Regarding the British economy, the latest forecast given by the British Chamber of Commerce is that GDP will grow by 1% in 2026, up from 0.9%; the consumer price index will reach 3.6% by the end of the year, down from 3.8%; and the unemployment rate will reach 5% by the end of the year and 5.4% in 2027.
