Dacheng Biochemical Technology (00809): Boiler refurbishment project completed and civil engineering for Coenzyme Q10 project started

According to Zhitong Finance App, Dacheng Biochemical Technology (00809) issued an announcement regarding the conclusion of an EPC contract for the boiler repair project and a cooperation agreement between Dacheng Dahe, an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of the company concerned, and Shenzhou Biotechnology Co., Ltd. (Shenzhou Biotechnology) to produce Coenzyme Q10 mycelium (Coenzyme Q10 project). On August 31, 2026, the completion and ignition ceremony of the boiler refurbishment project and the official launch ceremony of the Coenzyme Q10 civil engineering project were successfully held at the Group's Dehui production site in Jilin Province, China. Representatives from local government departments, Jilin Agricultural Investment Group Co., Ltd., project construction contractors, and a number of major financial institutions, including Shanghai Pudong Development Bank Changchun Branch, Jilin Rural Commercial Bank Changchun Branch, Bank of Jilin Changchun Branch, China Everbright Bank Changchun Branch, and Industrial Bank Finance Bank were all invited to attend the ceremony and witness the official commissioning of the renovated and upgraded boiler and the civil engineering of the Coenzyme Q10 project.

As disclosed in the boiler EPC announcement, the boiler refurbishment project is the Group's flagship project, showcasing the application of the Group's deployment of high temperature/high pressure and ultra-high temperature/ultra-high pressure boilers at the Dehui production site. The aim is to achieve higher energy cost efficiency while supporting the Group's overall sustainable development. The boiler refurbishment project has been successfully completed and officially put into operation. It is expected to significantly optimize operational efficiency, enhance cost competitiveness, and lay a solid foundation for the Group's long-term growth.

In addition, the civil engineering of the Coenzyme Q10 project at the Dehui production site was officially launched on August 31, 2026. The implementation of the Coenzyme Q10 project marks an important milestone in the Group's entry into the field of synthetic biology and expansion into the healthcare and medical application market. After full completion and commercialization, the project will improve the Group's business layout, improve operational efficiency, and promote high-quality growth in various business segments.
