Affected by supply disruptions caused by the Middle East war, Saudi Aramco is seeking additional oil storage facilities to expand its existing storage tank reserves in Europe and Asia. Saudi Aramco Strategy and Marketing Advisor Valery Zhou said at a conference in Dubai: “We are also looking for more storage resources around the world.” As customer demand for stable oil transportation continues to rise, storage assets are the key to maintaining stable supply. Saudi Aramco already has available storage locations around the world, including Fujairah in the UAE; Rotterdam, the Netherlands; Okinawa, Japan; and Egypt-related storage facilities serving the Mediterranean market.
