Bouygues CEO Eyes Expansion in US, Germany, Northern Europe

08:32 AM EDT, 09/02/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Bouygues (EN.PA) is planning to expand its operations in the US, Germany, and Northern Europe, mainly its road construction business and Equans subsidiary, Bloomberg News reported Wednesday, citing Chief Executive Officer Olivier Roussat. Roussat said the US is a "very profitable market," and said it also intends to acquire companies in northern European countries as well as Germany. He estimated that the French engineering company could double or triple its German revenue from 1 billion euros currently, but did not provide a timeframe.
