Anti-Chinese unrest Hong Kong activists Chen Rijun, Wu Aiyi, Hui Po-keung, Ho Siu-lan, and Ho Yun-si were charged with “not applying for registration or exemption from registration within the specified time limit”, indicating that they did not register for the fund as local community officers of the “612 Humanitarian Assistance Fund” from July 16, 2019 to October 31, 2021. All five were trustees of the fund. After trial, they were convicted and fined. Five anti-Chinese rebels filed an appeal against the conviction. The appellate court issued a verdict today, formally rejecting the appeal.
