Kanghong Pharmaceutical (002773.SZ): Compassic ophthalmic injection added a fifth indication

Zhitong Finance App News, Kanghong Pharmaceutical (002773.SZ) issued an announcement. Recently, Chengdu Kanghong Biotechnology Co., Ltd. (“Kanghong Biology” for short), a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company, received a “Drug Registration Certificate” issued by the State Drug Administration to increase indications for Compaxipu ophthalmic injections (trade name: Langmu).

Compecip ophthalmic injection is a class 1 bioinnovative drug independently developed by Kanghong Biotech. The approved indications are: 1. Neovascularization (wet) age-related macular degeneration (NaMD); 2. Vision damage caused by choroidal neovascularization (pmCNV) secondary to pathological myopia; 3. Vision damage secondary to diabetic macular edema (DME); 4. Secondary to retinal venous obstruction (RVO) (retinal branch vein occlusion (BRVO)) or central retinal venous retinal vein occlusion (BRVO) Vision impairment due to macular edema due to venous obstruction (CRVO). The ROP indication approved for this compassip ophthalmic injection is the fifth indication approved for this product.
