On September 3, during the 2026 China Aviation Finance International Forum, global engine leasing company Rolls-Royce & Partners Finance signed a contract with the Tianjin Dongjiang Comprehensive Free Trade Zone to announce the placement of aircraft engine leasing companies in Dongjiang. This is the first direct aircraft engine leasing project carried out by RRPF in China. It is also the first time that ownership of leased assets has been arranged and operated in China. Rollo said that the localized operators that have landed in Dongjiang, with a total investment of more than 2.3 billion yuan, will rely on RRPF's global industrial resources to provide various types of aero engine leasing, asset management and full life cycle services.
