Shengnuo Biotech (688117.SH): Linaclotide capsules obtained drug registration certificate

Zhitong Finance App News, Shengnuo Biotech (688117.SH) issued an announcement. Chengdu Shengnuo Biopharmaceutical Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company, recently received a “Drug Registration Certificate” for linaclotide capsules issued by the State Drug Administration.

Linaclotide was approved for marketing by the US FDA on August 30, 2012. It is mainly used to treat irritable bowel syndrome (IBS-C) and chronic idiopathic constipation (CIC). It is the first drug with this mechanism of action to treat constipation, and was approved for marketing by China's National Drug Administration in January 2019 for IBS-C treatment in adults. The company's linaclotide API has completed the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) DMF registration.
