According to the Ministry of Water Resources's “National Major River Flood Code Regulations”, the current flood number is “Han River Flood No. 1 2026.” The Pearl River Defense General Administration upgraded the flood control and typhoon level IV emergency response to level III at 18:00 on September 3. The Pearl River Commission simultaneously upgraded the flood protection level IV emergency response to level III, and will continue to keep a close eye on the development of flood conditions in the Han River Basin, rolling encrypted forecasting and early warning, further strengthening joint scheduling of reservoirs such as Mianhuatan and Gaopi, and implementing detailed flood prevention measures to fully ensure the safety of people's lives and property.
