The Saudi public investment fund-backed company unveiled humain-m3 on Thursday, an Arabic model based on the MiniMax M3. MiniMax M3 is free to download and customize. Humain has previously invested in data centers and chips, hoping to make Saudi Arabia competitive in the global AI competition. The company said the model reflects its commitment to strengthening the Arabic AI ecosystem and will also contribute to the development of cutting-edge global intelligent technology. Humain said in a statement that the average performance of the Humain-M3 was superior to all other cutting-edge models in seven published Arabic language benchmarks. The model is open for use with Humain Node. Humain Node is a platform that provides developers and businesses with channels to use advanced models. Humain CEO Tareq Amin said in a statement, “Arabic is spoken by hundreds of millions of people around the world, yet Arabic is clearly underrepresented in the frontier of artificial intelligence.
