Wang Wenjun, deputy director of the National Health Insurance Administration, explained at a press conference on the theme of “Getting Started with the 15th Five-Year Plan” series held by the State Information Office on the 4th that the number of long-term care insurance participants in China has exceeded 320 million, and the fund has spent a total of 114.2 billion yuan, providing nursing services for more than 4.6 million disabled people. Up to now, 22 provinces have issued provincial implementation plans, and the number of co-ordinated areas has reached 121. It is expected that the country will expand to 247 co-ordinated regions by the end of this year.
