On September 4, the key project of the national “14th Five-Year Plan” power planning - the Da'an 2×660MW thermal power peak shaving project of the Northeast Songliao Clean Energy Base in North China Project, was officially launched in Da'an City, Jilin Province. The project links the energy advantages of Northeast China with the demand of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei market. It is a landmark energy project that connects the two major national strategies for comprehensive revitalization of Northeast China and the collaborative development of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Province. It will construct a new pattern of cross-regional green energy transmission and provide important support for the country's energy security and supply and implementation of “dual carbon” goals.
