The company recently received the “Drug Supplement Application Approval Notice” for fenofibrate capsules approved by the State Drug Administration. The supplementary application for adding 0.2 g of the drug was approved, which is deemed to have passed the consistent evaluation of the quality and efficacy of generic drugs.

According to reports, fenofibrate has the effect of uric acid, antiplatelet aggregation, degradation of lipoprotein particles in plasma, and removal of triglycerides, which can reduce serum cholesterol by 20-25% and triglycerides by 40-50%. Fenofibrate capsules are clinically used to treat hypercholesterolemia (type IIa), endogenous hypertriglyceridemia, simple (type IV), and mixed (type IIb and III) in adults. Especially when blood cholesterol continues to rise after diet control, or when there are other risk factors for complications.
