Even if it's not a huge purchase, we think it was good to see that Adam Comora, the Co-Chief Executive Officer of OPAL Fuels Inc. (NASDAQ:OPAL) recently shelled out US$97k to buy stock, at US$1.93 per share. While we're hesitant to get too excited about a purchase of that size, we do note it increased their holding by a solid 11%.
Over the last year, we can see that the biggest insider purchase was by Director Scott Sutton for US$98k worth of shares, at about US$1.95 per share. That implies that an insider found the current price of US$1.98 per share to be enticing. That means they have been optimistic about the company in the past, though they may have changed their mind. While we always like to see insider buying, it's less meaningful if the purchases were made at much lower prices, as the opportunity they saw may have passed. In this case we're pleased to report that the insider purchases were made at close to current prices.
