United Medical Services (00722) Fa Ying Guang expects annual net loss of approximately HK$76 million

Zhitong Finance App News, Joint Medical (00722) announced that although the Group's revenue for the year ended June 30, 2026 remains relatively stable compared to the same period in 2025, the Group is expected to achieve a net loss of about HK$76 million in fiscal year 2026, while net profit of about HK$32 million for the year ended June 30, 2025.

The unaudited consolidated net loss for fiscal year 2026 was mainly due to the following factors: (i) Compared to fiscal year 2025, there was an increase in one-time impairment provisions for goodwill and property, plant and equipment in fiscal year 2026. The anticipated impairment loss is non-cash and has no impact on the Group's cash flow, working capital status or daily operations; (ii) the increase in staff costs and rental expenses is mainly due to the opening of a new comprehensive medical center in Foshan in fiscal year 2026. The center incurred start-up and commissioning costs in the early stages of operation, which increased the Group's operating expenses during the year.
