The statement said that the current arms sale to Saudi Arabia included 5004 500-pound bombs, 5,000 2,000-pound bombs and corresponding ammunition guidance components, with an estimated amount of 5 billion US dollars; 60 engines that can be used in the “Abrams” main battle tank are estimated at 750 million US dollars. The US State Department also approved the sale of F-16 fighter support services and related equipment to Oman.
