According to the Indonesian Volcano Monitoring Agency, from late on the night of September 4 to early this morning, Indonesia's Krakatoa volcano erupted at least 10 times, and volcanic ash once spewed to an altitude of 15,000 meters. The volcano continues to erupt and the phenomenon of a “lava fountain” has occurred. Currently, the volcano remains at level 3 “alert” after the highest level. The Indonesian Geological Research Institute reminds the public not to carry out any activity within a 3-kilometer radius of the crater.
