On September 5, in response to the severe impact of the typhoon and heavy rainfall on Fujian, the Chinese Red Cross Society initiated a three-level response. In line with local disaster relief needs, it urgently distributed 6,000 family relief packages and 6,000 towels to the affected areas to support the affected areas to do a good job in the relocation, resettlement, and livelihood security of the people.
